I am not a Constitutional scholar but in my sinple reading of the below from the US Constitution, Article I, Section 7, seems to be problematic for the Health Care Bill, being that the House ratified the Senate bill and there is alot of revenue raised (aka taxes and fees) in the bill:


All bills for raising Revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives; but the Senate may propose or concur with Amendments as on other Bills.

Sadly in November 2008, the American people chose the most ideologically progressive President and Congress in our lifetimes, maybe of our history.  We must hold out for positive CHANGE, we have experienced what negative CHANGE is like already!

In this day when a blow, hopefully not fatal, was struck at our Constitution and our freedoms by the stroke of a pen by President Obama it is fitting that we hear anew the words of Monroe, one of our founders.

Our current governmental leaders rather than preventing evil is promoting it with the massive corruption, lies, misdirections, re-writing the rules, bribes (the Louisiana Purchase, Cornhuster Kickback, etc.) and worst of all rejecting the will of We the People, that they are supposedly representing.

Also this bill despite assurances including the proposed executive order to affirm the Hyde restrictions on federal funding of abortion, the true intent and purpose of this bill is to expand federal funding for ALL abortions. One government official made an off-the-cuff comment that the bill's federal funding of abortion language is necessary for cutting down on the population!

And sadly of all we see formerly good people of conviction turn to the side of evil, most notably Rep. Bart Stupak who up until Sunday was scheduled to get a "Defender of Life" award from the Susan B. Anthony List organization, but given promises of a meaningless Executive order (and possible heavy-handed words/threats from the President/Rahm Emanuel).  I wonder if NARAL or NOW will give him the "Defender of Abortion Rights" award instead given his crucial role in getting this bill passes.

Sadly Stupak's pro-life stand was shallow and meaningless when it came to the most important vote of his life, I mourn the fact that he unwittingly or under duress put his name to the biggest expansion of abortion services in American history setting the stage for all abortions to be paid from federal funds and from the taxes of all Americans.

Today begins the Second American Revolution, a fight to wrestle our freedom from the new King George and his taxation without representation colleagues in the House and Senate.  This will be a war fought in the  Courts (over a dozen State Attorney Generals filing federal challenges today), in the State legislatures (38 states drafting anti-Obamacare legislation and ballot measures) and at the ballot box as we vote for State ballot measures and constitutional amendments against Obamacare and in November when we get to send pink slips to those House and Senate members that chose to vote against the Constitution and the American public.

I am so looking forward to in January, hearing the beautiful words in the House Chamber,  Speaker Boehner, even better would be for Nancy Pelosi to hear those words from her house in California!

Pro-Abortion Supporters Last Hope to Kill Bill?

Could it be the hard-line pro-abortion Democrats like Rep. Wasserman-Schultz to take down the Senate Bill?

The last hope for saving our Republic is now in the hands of hardcore pro-abortion democrats that I imagine are being lobbied by NOW and other groups to kill the bill based on President Obama's planned executive order to affirm the Hyde Amendment that bans federal funding for abortion. This proposed executive order that was offered to Rep. Stupak to get his vote for the bill has incensed NOW and other pro-abortion groups that finally saw the opportunity to expand funding of abortions to every taxpayer paying for it.

I hope that the hardcore pro-abortion members of Congress, unlike Stupak, will stand on their convictions and VOTE NO on the bill, because of the President's betrayal in offering the proposed executive order.

For the first time in my life I am pulling for pro-abortion supporters to standup for their cause, kind of makes me feel icky...but if they can kill this bill, I will feel alot less icky!

Open letter to Hon. Bart Stupak:

Mr. Stupak,

First off thanks for your hard fought support for the Stupak language in the original House bill and your stand so far against federal funding of aborion.

I sadly think that you are being naive to believe President Obama's "promise" that he will sign an executive order upholding the ban on federal funding of abortion AFTER the House passes the Senate bill. This is a huge risk, given the dozens of failed promises that the President has made on the campaign trail that have been turned on and renigged on so far in his administration. You are staking your anti-abortion stance to be defended by a man who is an ardent supporter of abortion, including voting several times in Illinois to uphold letting babies that survived a botched abortion to be left to die on a hospital counter.

This is the great golden prize of the Progressive movement. There has been so many lies, deceptions and backroom deals to get this far and knowing that the President has no problem with deception and making promises that he knows will not be fulfilled, you sadly are being duped I fear and are selling out you convictions, your pro-life supporters and the babies to be killed with tax payer dollars when the President shreds this proposed executive order as he, Pelosi and Reid are already running the Constitution through the shredder.

This is a bad bill that can't be fixed or reconciled but requires a NO from all decent Americans that stand for liberty and freedom!

I hope that you change your mind and others see that a NO vote ensures no government funding of abortion, a YES vote ensures it. You can't hold the President to a promise, he cares nothing about the truth or decency, 20 years sitting at the feet of hate-mongers like Rev. Wright shows that clearly.

The fate of the "Healthcare Bill" is now down to abortion.

Stupak and his coalition on one side requiring language to prohibit federal funding of abortion in the new healthcare system and the larger pro-abortion lobby that is threatening to vote NO to the bill if any abortion restrictions are allowed in the bill or in a proposed executive order by the President.

If anything the fact that Stupak is still in the discussion means that they need his votes, so hopefully this bill will die tonight!

These words by President Reagan are so timely as the House of Representatives is set to vote on Sunday afternoon to take our freedoms to control our healthcare choices (or non-choices) and to nationalize the student loan service and put the government in charge of who can and cannot get funds for education.  


What if they decide that government administered loans for universities that are affiliated with religious groups (Jewish Theological Seminary, Notre Dame, Pepperdine, etc.)  would violate the separation of Church and State and then no student loans or grants to students in religious schools?


Though I hate debt and loans, I far more hate the idea of the Government taking over the Student Loan business along with taking over the healthcare industry.


President Reagan reminds us that the future of freedom is up to each generation this week marks that time for our generation to stand up and defend the freedoms that our forebears gave their devotion to provide to us, now it is up to us to defend freedom and say NO to President Obama, Pelosi and Reid's efforts to steal our freedom.


This is our hour to stand for the values of Washington, Jefferson, Adams, Franklin and Paine  and play our part in extending liberty to the next generation!

Dear Congressman Sherman, I am writing to demand that you as my representative vote NO on the Senate healthcare bill and any attempt to approve it without a direct vote by deeming it passed. This is a bad bill that needs to be scrapped and started fresh on, it can't be reconciled. Please stop this bad bill from passing. The passing of this bill will all but guarantee that the House and Senate will go to the Republicans in November which will cost you dearly as you will lose posts of authority in the new Republican House. An unwanted birthday gift.

There is talk that by my birthday on March 27th, that the House of Representatives is planning to give me a most unwanted birthday gift, that being approval of Pres. Obama's healthcare bill.

I remember how this ever-growing monstrosity and full frontal attack on the Republic and the Constitution was planned to be ready by Thanksgiving, later Christmas (I recall my Facebook status last December that said, I'm hoping not receive a Christmas gift from Pelosi and Reid...), now they're shooting for my birthday, 27 March for this president that most Americans don't want, especially me. Birthdays have been tough but turned 30, of each new year is one more separated from my youth, but now our non-Representatives in Washington are looking to add an annual reminder of the shredding our constitution each year as I approached a birthday.

So as I begin this new blog, hoping to share my thoughts, reflections, hopes and dreams and to share the vision of our founders to establish the best form of government that has sustained our country these many years, whose future is under attack by Pres. Obama, Speaker Pelosi, Sen. Reid and all those committed to progressive remaking of America.
