The $100,000 Answer to Illegal Immigration.

With so much debate, protests, boycotts and left-wing violence coming over the State of Arizona's attempt to protect their border and citizens from illegal immigration and begin enforcing the laws on the books that the Federal government has refused to enforce brings us to a possible way of solving the illegal immigration problem by cracking down on the source of employment, those who employ illegal aliens.

As with prostitution so many focus on the prostitutes and not on those who are seeking to or buying their services, the focus on illegal immigration is on the illegal immigrants with a disregard for those who are employing them, the modern day slave owners.

So let's attack the issue of illegal immigration by going after the employers.

I propose the enactment of a law that stipulates a $100,000 fine for each illegal alien employed.

For example:

Joe the Landscaper has a big job to do and he swings by the local Big Box Lumber Store parking lot and picks up 6 illegal immigrants to work for him on the day. He is arrested and found guilty and is fined $600,000 for this.

Major Retailer has 200 illegal immigrants cleaning their stores overnight, reaping them a $20,000,000 fine.

The cost savings of paying someone $50 for a 12 hour work day would dry up quickly especially in Joe the Landscaper's case, his illegal immigrant hires might cost him his business or home.

If it is jobs that illegal immigrants seek then a way to deal with that is to make hiring each one so expensive that the jobs for them dries up. This can also help in our current unemployment crisis for legal immigrants and natural born citizens to take these jobs formerly done by illegal workers who were paid slave labor, off the books.

This should take care of several problems:

1. Ending the labor market for illegal immigrants.
2. Curtailing this form of modern day slave labor market.
3. Opening up jobs for legal immigrants and American citizens.
4. Punishing the purveyors of illegal jobs.

Just an idea that could work...

Even the New York Times is prepping for the fall of the Democrats in Congress...

It is nice to see that the New York Times is willing to admit that this November is going to be bad for the Democrats.

November 2010 will be a wake up call for an out of control government that despite an American populace that was set against Obamacare, jammed it through using parliamentary procedures and parlor tricks to pass a bill that couldn't have passed the Senate if done following the standard rules of the Senate given Scott Brown's ascension to the Senate as #41. Man did I think that #41 was the death of this bill, I guess we have to hope for a new Congress to make changes and a new President in 2012 to repeal it, if the US Supreme Court has not declared Obamacare unconstitutional by 2012.

Stand strong lovers of liberty, like our forebearers that protested the unjust and unrepresentative government of King George, we today stand as modern patriots protesting against and an unjust and unrepresentative government run by Obama, Pelosi and Reid. At least in November Reid will be leaving the Senate, Pelosi will lose her Speakership and we have to wait until 2012 to give Mr. Obama his pink slip, man will it be nice to see him and Michelle greeting our next President whoever he or she may be (I am hoping for she...) as they have coffee before the Inaugural.

The Sad Rhetoric of a Former President - Bill Clinton, Rush Limbaugh, Oklahoma City Bombing and Freedom of Speech

Just when I was starting to think Clinton was ok and the best Democratic President of my lifetime (ok given the competition Lyndon Johnson, Jimmy Carter and Barack Obama - he might still get it by default, but LBJ is looking a bit better...), Clinton uses the 15th anniversary of the Oklahoma City bombing to connect voices like Rush, Glenn Beck and others as leading to violence, implying Rush's anti-Clinton administration views may have pushed Timothy McVeigh over the edge!  If anyone provoked McVeigh it would be the Clinton administration and specifically Janet Reno that at Waco (McVeigh's own reasoning for the attack) overreacted and caused a bad situation to become a tragedy as they forced a mad man to take deadly actions.


Let's step back and see that Rush and others. myself included are not seeking the violent overthrow of the US goverment, check the President's friends and advisors, they have experience (Bill Ayers).  As Rush so simply and articulately states our concern is restoring America to our founder's vision and to a place of honor on the world stage, not looking to take upon ourself forced unilateral demeaning that President Obama revels in daily.

Tea Party Nazis???, Brandeis University Right-Wing Radicals Conference, the 1st Amendment and Socialism

In what is a new low in the demonizing of the Tea Party members and those who are peacefully using their 1st amendment right to "gather to petition their government for redress of grievances", Brandeis University is hosting a conference, New Right-Wing Radicalism: A Transatlantic Perspective, that seeks to tie the rise of neo-Nazi groups in Europe to the American Tea Party movement.

What gets lost is the simple fact that Right-Wing is not equal to Nazi and it is extremely tragic for a Jewish institution to bring up the specter of the Nazi regime, one of the most evil forces of human history, in connection to regular Americans seeking to just exercise their 1st amendment rights for free speech and free association to seek to call the government to go in another direction toward the founders of our country.

One of the biggest differences between Nazis and the Tea Party is on the issue of socialism.

The name "Nazi" is an abbreviation for National SOCIALISTS.

The Tea Party supporters are ardent foes of SOCIALISM.

What gets lost is that there are Left wing socialists expressed in Marxism - Soviet Union, China, Cuba, etc. and there is Right wing socialism, Fascism - Nazi Germany and Italy in the 30's-40's. So socialism is not a left-wing ideology but a corrupt European inspired way to go left or right.

As staunch opponents of socialism, it would seem either confusion or ill-will on the part of Brandeis University to seek to link the anti-socialism Tea Party to the pro-socialism, National Socialists Party (Nazis), Socialist is in their name!

Another great irony is on the issue of the Jewish People and Israel. Whereas the Nazis and right-wing radicals of their ilk are built on hatred of the Jewish People and opposition to the Jewish State. Whereas right wing American groups like the Tea Party movement are made up of near unanimity in support for the State of Israel.

I would wager that at an average Tea Party gathering there would be more unequivocal supporters for the State of Israel than can be found on the Brandeis campus.

Given the slant toward liberalism and support for President Obama by the American Jewish community, but it is deeply sad for a Jewish institution to show their support for Obama and their disapproval for the opponents of the President's policies by painting peaceful, Constitution loving, Israel supporting Americans with the dark specter of the Nazis and connections to their evil modern day adherents.

With so much talk and dismay over "harsh language" and rhetoric in reference to the Tea Party movement, how more harsh language can there be to speak the name of the Nazis, especially for people who love freedom (Nazis hate freedom) and support Israel and the Jewish People (Nazis hate Jews and the Jewish State).

I hope that Brandeis will come to see that this is ill-decided move and academically dishonest for them to have the American Tea Party spoken of at a conference focusing on Neo-Nazis and when those whose names should never be spoken, like the former Chancellor of Germany (may his name be forever scorned) will be mentioned.

This is a new low in our political life when the specter of the great evil of the Nazis are spoken of peaceful, Americans seeking to speak out against an out of control government.

Stupak Decides to Quit Before Being Fired in November...

Ahead of his firing in November, former pro-life congressman Bart Stupak decides to retire.

Avoiding the pending pink slip from the voters, Stupak decides to give his notice early...

It is sad to see a good man go bad and when Stupak cracked on his supposed pro-life values and it was tragic when he gave Obama and Pelosi the critical votes for Obamacare, the greatest expansion of government and contrary to his values the greatest expansion of abortion funding in US history.

At the most critical hour to stand for his values, Stupak chose liberalism over life and it is fitting that this choice against life has cost him his political life...

The Constitution Doesn't Matter???

This video shows the big problem in Washington, that the Constitution, our foundational document is no longer important in making decisions as we saw in the recent 2700 page Obamacare bill, that is unconstitutional on many grounds. Hopefully the Supreme Court will have the guts to strike it down before too much damage takes place!

A Constitutional Question...

I am not a Constitutional scholar but in my sinple reading of the below from the US Constitution, Article I, Section 7, seems to be problematic for the Health Care Bill, being that the House ratified the Senate bill and there is alot of revenue raised (aka taxes and fees) in the bill:


All bills for raising Revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives; but the Senate may propose or concur with Amendments as on other Bills.

In this day when a blow, hopefully not fatal, was struck at our Constitution and our freedoms by the stroke of a pen by President Obama it is fitting that we hear anew the words of Monroe, one of our founders.

Our current governmental leaders rather than preventing evil is promoting it with the massive corruption, lies, misdirections, re-writing the rules, bribes (the Louisiana Purchase, Cornhuster Kickback, etc.) and worst of all rejecting the will of We the People, that they are supposedly representing.

Also this bill despite assurances including the proposed executive order to affirm the Hyde restrictions on federal funding of abortion, the true intent and purpose of this bill is to expand federal funding for ALL abortions. One government official made an off-the-cuff comment that the bill's federal funding of abortion language is necessary for cutting down on the population!

And sadly of all we see formerly good people of conviction turn to the side of evil, most notably Rep. Bart Stupak who up until Sunday was scheduled to get a "Defender of Life" award from the Susan B. Anthony List organization, but given promises of a meaningless Executive order (and possible heavy-handed words/threats from the President/Rahm Emanuel).  I wonder if NARAL or NOW will give him the "Defender of Abortion Rights" award instead given his crucial role in getting this bill passes.

Sadly Stupak's pro-life stand was shallow and meaningless when it came to the most important vote of his life, I mourn the fact that he unwittingly or under duress put his name to the biggest expansion of abortion services in American history setting the stage for all abortions to be paid from federal funds and from the taxes of all Americans.

Today begins the Second American Revolution, a fight to wrestle our freedom from the new King George and his taxation without representation colleagues in the House and Senate.  This will be a war fought in the  Courts (over a dozen State Attorney Generals filing federal challenges today), in the State legislatures (38 states drafting anti-Obamacare legislation and ballot measures) and at the ballot box as we vote for State ballot measures and constitutional amendments against Obamacare and in November when we get to send pink slips to those House and Senate members that chose to vote against the Constitution and the American public.

I am so looking forward to in January, hearing the beautiful words in the House Chamber,  Speaker Boehner, even better would be for Nancy Pelosi to hear those words from her house in California!

Pro-Abortion Supporters Last Hope to Kill Bill?

Could it be the hard-line pro-abortion Democrats like Rep. Wasserman-Schultz to take down the Senate Bill?

The last hope for saving our Republic is now in the hands of hardcore pro-abortion democrats that I imagine are being lobbied by NOW and other groups to kill the bill based on President Obama's planned executive order to affirm the Hyde Amendment that bans federal funding for abortion. This proposed executive order that was offered to Rep. Stupak to get his vote for the bill has incensed NOW and other pro-abortion groups that finally saw the opportunity to expand funding of abortions to every taxpayer paying for it.

I hope that the hardcore pro-abortion members of Congress, unlike Stupak, will stand on their convictions and VOTE NO on the bill, because of the President's betrayal in offering the proposed executive order.

For the first time in my life I am pulling for pro-abortion supporters to standup for their cause, kind of makes me feel icky...but if they can kill this bill, I will feel alot less icky!

Mr. Stupak,

First off thanks for your hard fought support for the Stupak language in the original House bill and your stand so far against federal funding of aborion.

I sadly think that you are being naive to believe President Obama's "promise" that he will sign an executive order upholding the ban on federal funding of abortion AFTER the House passes the Senate bill. This is a huge risk, given the dozens of failed promises that the President has made on the campaign trail that have been turned on and renigged on so far in his administration. You are staking your anti-abortion stance to be defended by a man who is an ardent supporter of abortion, including voting several times in Illinois to uphold letting babies that survived a botched abortion to be left to die on a hospital counter.

This is the great golden prize of the Progressive movement. There has been so many lies, deceptions and backroom deals to get this far and knowing that the President has no problem with deception and making promises that he knows will not be fulfilled, you sadly are being duped I fear and are selling out you convictions, your pro-life supporters and the babies to be killed with tax payer dollars when the President shreds this proposed executive order as he, Pelosi and Reid are already running the Constitution through the shredder.

This is a bad bill that can't be fixed or reconciled but requires a NO from all decent Americans that stand for liberty and freedom!

I hope that you change your mind and others see that a NO vote ensures no government funding of abortion, a YES vote ensures it. You can't hold the President to a promise, he cares nothing about the truth or decency, 20 years sitting at the feet of hate-mongers like Rev. Wright shows that clearly.

The fate of the "Healthcare Bill" is now down to abortion.

Stupak and his coalition on one side requiring language to prohibit federal funding of abortion in the new healthcare system and the larger pro-abortion lobby that is threatening to vote NO to the bill if any abortion restrictions are allowed in the bill or in a proposed executive order by the President.

If anything the fact that Stupak is still in the discussion means that they need his votes, so hopefully this bill will die tonight!

These words by President Reagan are so timely as the House of Representatives is set to vote on Sunday afternoon to take our freedoms to control our healthcare choices (or non-choices) and to nationalize the student loan service and put the government in charge of who can and cannot get funds for education.  


What if they decide that government administered loans for universities that are affiliated with religious groups (Jewish Theological Seminary, Notre Dame, Pepperdine, etc.)  would violate the separation of Church and State and then no student loans or grants to students in religious schools?


Though I hate debt and loans, I far more hate the idea of the Government taking over the Student Loan business along with taking over the healthcare industry.


President Reagan reminds us that the future of freedom is up to each generation this week marks that time for our generation to stand up and defend the freedoms that our forebears gave their devotion to provide to us, now it is up to us to defend freedom and say NO to President Obama, Pelosi and Reid's efforts to steal our freedom.


This is our hour to stand for the values of Washington, Jefferson, Adams, Franklin and Paine  and play our part in extending liberty to the next generation!

I thought that it would be important to look at the rights that our founders enumerated in our founding document.  Oddly enough the most secure are the most obscure like #3...

Below is my email to my congressman, Brad Sherman (D).

Dear Congressman Sherman, I am writing to demand that you as my representative vote NO on the Senate healthcare bill and any attempt to approve it without a direct vote by deeming it passed. This is a bad bill that needs to be scrapped and started fresh on, it can't be reconciled. Please stop this bad bill from passing. The passing of this bill will all but guarantee that the House and Senate will go to the Republicans in November which will cost you dearly as you will lose posts of authority in the new Republican House. Please be our representatives and vote NO on this bad bill.

An unwanted birthday gift.

There is talk that by my birthday on March 27th, that the House of Representatives is planning to give me a most unwanted birthday gift, that being approval of Pres. Obama's healthcare bill.

I remember how this ever-growing monstrosity and full frontal attack on the Republic and the Constitution was planned to be ready by Thanksgiving, later Christmas (I recall my Facebook status last December that said, I'm hoping not receive a Christmas gift from Pelosi and Reid...), now they're shooting for my birthday, 27 March for this president that most Americans don't want, especially me. Birthdays have been tough but turned 30, of each new year is one more separated from my youth, but now our non-Representatives in Washington are looking to add an annual reminder of the shredding our constitution each year as I approached a birthday.

So as I begin this new blog, hoping to share my thoughts, reflections, hopes and dreams and to share the vision of our founders to establish the best form of government that has sustained our country these many years, whose future is under attack by Pres. Obama, Speaker Pelosi, Sen. Reid and all those committed to progressive remaking of America.
